We are half way through our first term at the Crescent Arts Centre and I have been given the first of our core tunes to play at the Christmas concert 2013. It is a great reel in the key of G Major ‘Come West Along the Road’. I will be teaching the tune in class shortly but you have the opportunity to make a head start at it now. Sessiúns will resume in Fortwilliam Golf Club on the first Sunday of the month – next seisuin will be on Sunday 1st December. Great news to hear there will be a slow seisuin from 7pm to 8pm which will be aimed at younger/ intermediate level players. This will suit pupils who have a number of sets but have not the speed to play in the main seisuin.
