Epiphone Style A

Written by Paul Conlon. Posted in Front Page Posts

A very much sought after tenor banjo and in very fine condition. I was pleasantly surprised when this model A arrived as it looked in virtually unplayed condition. The banjo just needed a little TLC as the plating was dulled and there was some minor surface checking to the lacquer which is normal for a banjo of its age.

The walnut neck is perfectly true with low action throughout the scale. I fitted a new Remo renaissance head 10 – 15/16″ which is perfect fit for Epiphones and this give it good cutting power, with nice sweet sustain.
