Enrolment for  Classes 2018 are now open online.  First class of the new term will be on Wednesday 10th Jan 2018, we look forward to seeing everyone there…

  • Beginner class from (6.00pm – 7.00pm) by Paul Conlon
  • Lower intermediate class from (6.00pm – 7.00pm) by Aiden Walsh
  • Improvers class from (6.00pm – 7.00pm) by Paul Conlon
  • New Advanced class from (7.00pm – 8.00pm) by Aiden Walsh

About Belfast Trad

Belfast-Trad Traditional Music & Dance Society is a registered charity and has been providing tuition in Irish music and dance since 1991. Their aim is to promote and develop a knowledge and love of these traditional arts and to encourage participation from anyone who is interested in learning.

The classes are run by an all-volunteer committee and are open to the whole community. There are 34 music and dance classes per week, three terms per year, supplemented by over 20 workshops featuring some of the best practitioners of these art forms in the world.

Belfast Trad are based at the Crescent Arts Centre, 2-4 University Road, located between Shaftesbury Square and Queen’s University, Belfast. They also support classes for the St Brigid’s Parish Traditional Music School, the Céilí series at Belfast Castle and dance at the Camphill Community at Glencraig.
