1927 Vega Little Wonder 19 fret tenor banjo
1927 Vega Little Wonder 19 fret tenor banjo in great condition.
All original and so easy to play, very much sought after especially as a first upgrade from beginner banjo. I play the open back version as it is so light but still has the volume and sustain to carry across any session. Fitted with the spun over tone ring and heavy 5/8″ tension hoop with 28 hooks and nuts and a newly installed Remo white smooth top head which gives this banjo lovely sustain and cut, especially suited for Irish trad playing. The neck is straight as an arrow and good original frets with years of playing in them. The headstock has the familiar Vega star inlay and fitted with the original Grover Tab 2 geared tuners, all working perfectly. Both neck and rim have the same serial number stamped #908772 and the beautiful pie crust resonator is also original. Fitted with a 28 piece nickel plated Vega flange plates. Fitted with original Presto brass nickel plated tail piece and original Vega fitted arm rest with Vega star stamped in the corner.
